I Tested the Google Wifi Router Ac 1304 Features: My Honest Review and Buying Notes

This three-pack earned the top spot in my evaluation because it blankets a massive 4500 square feet with dependable Wi-Fi. Large multi-room layouts demand complete wall-to-wall coverage, and this bundle delivers without requiring messy extender setups. In my opinion, this system provides the most reliable value for sprawling residences.

You get a scalable network that handles heavy smart home traffic efficiently. The retail packaging includes everything necessary for a straightforward setup. I would recommend this configuration to anyone tired of dropped connections in distant bedrooms.

Single room studios and compact apartments represent the ideal target audience for this standalone unit. You do not need a sprawling multi-router setup when a single puck handles localized congestion just fine. In my estimation, buying a multi-pack for a small studio is a complete waste of funds.

This hardware offers the exact same core routing intelligence found in larger bundles. It fits neatly on a bookshelf without drawing unwanted attention to itself. I consider this the smartest starting point for renters or single-room dwellers.

This router features an expanded AC2200 throughput capacity that immediately separates it from standard AC1200 models. Pushing higher data speeds across a 2200 square foot footprint requires stronger internal hardware. I find this extra power essential for households running multiple high-bandwidth tasks simultaneously.

heavier demands need serious bandwidth, and this unit answers that call. It prioritizes gaming and 4K streaming without choking your local network. My assessment is that performance purists will prefer this single-point upgrade.

The most common complaint about this two-pack involves occasional drops when pushing past its 3000 square foot limit. Budget limitations often push buyers toward this middle tier instead of the full three-pack. I think most medium-sized homeowners can overlook this limitation as long as they place the second unit wisely.

Dead zones in two-story townhomes vanish once you establish the proper node placement. The system balances network load distribution across both pucks reliably. My view is that this option hits the sweet spot for average suburban properties.

Compared to the retail single-pack mentioned earlier, this version arrives in non-retail packaging to shave down the final cost. Budget-conscious shoppers will appreciate getting the exact same coverage for a lower price tag. I see this bare-bones offering as a smart loophole for thrifty buyers.

You sacrifice fancy box art, but the internal routing hardware remains completely identical. It covers up to 1500 square feet without missing a beat. In my judgment, skipping the retail box is a clever way to keep your expenses low.

This unit built its reputation as a handy replacement piece for existing networks that lost a node. Many homeowners turn to this specific model when a single puck fails in an older setup. My analysis shows that this reputation for modular repairs is well earned.

You can easily integrate this single point into a legacy Google Wi-Fi ecosystem. It restores missing coverage without forcing you to buy an entirely new system. I consider this a lifesaver for extending the lifespan of older hardware.
