4. 4 Inch Straight Pipe Stainless Steel T304 Tubing Piping 48 Inch Long 4'' OD Tailpipe DIY Pipe – 2PCS
Buyers frequently complain about the heavy weight of these thick pipes, but that mass translates directly to long-term durability. I view this 48 inch tubing as a solid choice for heavy-duty exhaust applications that demand extra strength.
The polished finish looks sharp underneath a vehicle. You must measure twice, however, because cutting thick steel requires serious tools.
Reviewers mention the sturdy build quality of the thick metal walls.

6. Piutouyar Round Clear Rigid Tubing Pipe, 3.78" ID x 4" OD x 12" Length
Crystal-clear clarity made this short tube a favorite for display builders. I consider it ideal for acrylic showcases where visual appeal matters just as much as structural support.
The rigid walls hold their shape under light loads. Keep in mind that the short twelve-inch length limits you to small-scale projects.
Crafters love the pristine transparency of the plastic.
The cut ends arrive clean and ready for immediate assembly.
Buyers advise checking dimensions carefully due to the shorter length.

Choosing Between Them
Choosing the right tube means matching material to your specific project, and I recommend the VIVOSUN Flexible Aluminum Ducting above all others for its exceptional adaptability. If you are routing bathroom fans or dryer vents, go with that flexible pick. For heavy fabrication, the stainless steel options will serve you much better, while woodworkers should reach for the clear polycarbonate tubing.
Keep in mind that flexible materials create more airflow resistance than smooth rigid pipes. Plan your runs accordingly to maintain maximum efficiency in your ventilation or dust collection systems.
