I Tested Strikeman: Honest Review, Real Results, and What I Discovered

The primary strength of this unit lies in its dedicated calibration for rifle platforms. If you shoot AR-style rifles, this red laser cartridge delivers direct chamber feedback without requiring any messy modifications.

I think this specialized tool is essential if you want to practice rifle reloads and positioning indoors. You do not get a full bundle here, as this is just the laser cartridge only, meaning you must source your own targets and app access if you want digital scoring.

This rechargeable option is built specifically for pistol owners who hate constantly replacing tiny button batteries. The rechargeable design makes it a cost-effective pick for high-volume handgun drills in your living room.

I would recommend this setup to anyone who wants to sharpen their everyday carry skills without burning through factory ammo. The only real limitation is that you are restricted to nine-millimeter platforms, leaving your rifles out of the equation.

An unexpected mechanical asset here is the four-foot extension height, which gives you a much wider camera angle than standard tabletop mini-stands. This collapsible phone stand holds your mobile device securely while the app tracks your laser hits on the target.

I find this accessory vital for keeping your camera steady so the app does not misread your shots. It is lightweight and easy to store, though it lacks the heavy-duty build of professional studio tripods.

The most common complaint from users is that paper targets wear out quickly under heavy daily practice. This expansion pack solves that issue by offering engaging target variations that keep your indoor drills from feeling repetitive.

I appreciate how these alternative games make basic trigger practice feel much more entertaining. Keep in mind that these targets still require you to own the base system and laser cartridge to actually register your hits.

Comparing this to the standalone .223 cartridge, this comprehensive package delivers a much more complete solution right out of the box. You get the specific rifle dry-fire system alongside access to the updated app and a dedicated phone holder.

In my opinion, this is the absolute top pick for anyone running larger rifle platforms at home. The higher entry cost reflects the all-inclusive nature of the kit, but the subscription-free app keeps long-term value exceptionally high.

This expansion set earned its reputation by promising endless variety for shooters who get bored of standard bullseyes. That market angle holds up well because the varied skill sessions force you to adapt your aim to completely different layouts.

I think adding golf and sport themes is a brilliant way to keep your practice sessions engaging. My only caution is that these are purely supplementary targets, so do not expect them to function as a standalone training kit.
